My family lived next door to this church from 1945-1949. It was the Church of the Nazarene. My father was the pastor. He built the tower single-handed around 1947 or 1948. Lots of things to look at specifically highlighting the settlement of Linn County. You’ll see several domestic living displays as well as many job related displays that include logging, doctor, printing, mining, photography, blacksmith and harness and more. Lots of photos and memorabilia and knowledgeable guides to answer questions and point out particularly interesting items. All of our kids (ages 9-18) really enjoyed going.

Amazing! A number of things I had never seen before, was incredible. An old fashion hair dryer (used at beauty shops) was so cool to see as well as all the styles of clothing. Very neat. I left before I had a chance to really inspect every item on display so I will be back!
