An interesting variety of books, art and audio recordings. The owner was very friendly and welcomed us to enjoy our new books in their theater seats. It was a great way to relax for awhile and beat the heat.

A quintessential word nerd hideout. This is a lovely floor to ceiling packed bookstore that hosts events on a regular basis. The owner is a character: friendly, intelligent, opinionated. Every town needs a bookstore like this. We are lucky to have Tsunami!

Tsunami Books, as one reviewer mentioned, especially welcomes the alternative/metaphysical/religious-spiritual types. But don't let that put you off! This place has a wide selection of paperback novels, mysteries, and a wonderful children's section as well. Most of the stock is used, though there are some new books in stock. The owner is a wonderful guy, and his staff is always friendly and helpful. As a resident of Eugene, I pop in often. Sure, there are times when I don't see any big surprises; but, more than any other bookstore in town, there have been many times I've had a rare title in my mind......and have soon after walked into Tsunami and found it! This place just has a vibe I like!
