tripadvisorI called the day before we were planned to arrive to check if the pool would be open for this weekend and I was told yes absolutely. Then after arriving with children excited to swim, I was informed that the pool was in fact closed for the season as of last weekend. So the person that I spoke to was completely uninformed and got my children’s hopes up only to let them down exponentially. There was also serious construction that I was not aware about prior to our stay. Had I known, I would have chosen a different hotel. Worst of all our room was dirty, there were black sticky spots on the carpet and mold in the ac unit. When we were offered a different room, I went with the front desk staff to check out the quality of the new room, only to find water pouring from the light fixture in the ceiling. To top it all off, we were supposed to be refunded part of our cost for the stay and instead of refunding it back to my card…. They charged my card for even more money! Will 10 out of 10 NOT recommend this hotel now will we be staying there again in the future.
MoreThe hotel is under construction. It’s a good thing because it’s badly needed. Then I was the Front Desk receptionist when I checked in was very friendly. The bad the room was very beat up, but seemed to be clean. The AC didn’t work properly and the toilet was super small. The goodCheck-in process was good. And the breakfast was OK.
MoreThe room was clean, but lacked a nightstand, a dresser, and a closet. There were no chairs to sit on in the lobby to wait for my room to be ready. The hotel is under remodel, but if they are taking away the furniture in all the rooms, I will find a new place to stay on my next trip.
MoreThe overall hotel was decent however there is a problem with bugs as I was bit many times after just a short one night stay.
MoreThe rooms were clean, however very uncomfortable. The couch was low and stiff. Hard to get up. The lighting in the kitchenette was very dim. There were not enough electrical outlets for charging phones, etc. There were two nightstands in the bedroom with lamps. One wouldn't turn on because it was unplugged. There wasn't any electrical outlet to use. The hotel had construction going on which was very loud. The breakfast area was disassembled and people had to go to the third floor to eat. It was unorganized and we were told the waffle maker wasn't working because it would short circuit. It was a very unpleasant and expensive stay.
