A nice and clean place to go hiking through forests and grasslands, hike along the Willamette River, through filbert orchards. I have seen plenty of squirrels, robins, reptiles and rabbits. As well a coyote here in the past. There are some historical buildings on site, restroom that are open during opening hours also.

We were there to do some practice photography with the new camera my daughter got. We enjoyed the trails and the historic farm vibe. The fall colors where nice. And most guests where curtious to others. We did notice that someone had gone through and broken the mushrooms that they could find which was disappointing since one of the things my daughter was practicing was macro photography and wanted fungus pictures. Over all the park offers a great deal for walkers and people that like living history, just be aware that after school starts the rest rooms appear to be closed.

We attend the Holly ween Party in 2020. It was so much fun. Because of the virus it was a drive through party. It was so fun and so well done with different stops for entertainment and fright. A real family event for all ages. FUN FUN FUN

There are awesome trails, all though the filbert fields that run into trails short (returns to fields) and long that run along the river all the way to Eugene. The only thing to note, it the steep trail from the parking lot to the fields. There is a s couple of lovely open grass area, one bench for seating at the top and past the barn, at the base of the fields (still a little walk).

Out for a walk searching for geo caches. Nice area for just walking around. Great 4 mile bike path to Clearwater park along the Willamette river. And more geo caches there. Grand kids have a good time there.
