Truthfully, when we just arrived at the moment, there was smelly smoking in the hallway to walk on the way to the room. That atmosphere turned us off at the beginning. The room was clean as well as towels and bedspread were fresh white. The value of lodging including breakfast was reasonable. The location of that hotel was very accessible to drive out to Sturbridge, Mass. yes, we had a good sleep,

I had a very nice stay at Best Western Hartford Hotel and Suites and was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable and spacious my room was.The room had a great layout, with a separate sleeping and sitting area, a desk/workspace, and a kitchenette area with a sink, counter space, cabinets, and a coffee maker. There was also plenty of seating, and I liked the blue-and-white color scheme and overall décor. The room felt more spacious than I expected and gave me plenty of room to settle in comfortably.The bed was definitely one of the highlights of my stay—it was SUPER comfortable! After a long day, having a bed that you can actually sink into and relax in makes a big difference, and I slept really well.I also had breakfast at the hotel. It was a basic but solid breakfast buffet with bagels, cereal, eggs, oatmeal, sausage, toast, waffles, as well as coffee, juice, and tea. There was a nice variety of options, and it was convenient to be able to grab breakfast before starting my day.One of the things that pleasantly surprised me was transportation. I was able to ride VEO to and from the hotel. I initially thought the hotel was too far outside the VEO geofence, so I wasn’t expecting it to be an option. Being able to use VEO made getting around much easier for me, particularly since I don’t have a car.I also checked out the hotel’s fitness center, which has a variety of equipment, as well as the common areas and breakfast/dining space. There are definitely some useful amenities available beyond the guest room.Overall, I enjoyed my stay at Best Western Hartford Hotel and Suites. The spacious room, very comfortable bed, breakfast options, and unexpectedly convenient VEO access all contributed to a positive experience.There are a few areas where I think the property could be improved, which is why I’m giving it 4 stars rather than 5, but I would definitely consider staying here again when I’m in the Hartford area.

Spent 2 nights there in early September 2026...location is bad..very industrial and overlooking a cannabis dispensary. Nothing walkable and no restaurants near by except a McDonald's. Room is as basic as it gets..not completely clean ..in need of renovation. Breakfast comes with room but is substandard. Staff there very nice ..especially Eduardo! Room has Fridge but no safe .I wouldn't choose this place again if I return to Hartford.

MY card was charged the full amount of $160 for a 1 night stay. We arrived in our room and the Wifi was out and had no access to the entertainment for about an hour. IN the morning getting ready for our religious celebration there was no water from the shower head. While the desk person Juan was ok when i followed up w/ Manager she said they would get back to me. I had to call back days later and Erica the GM was of NO HELP. I asked for a credit for some of our bill and received nothing. I will NEVER stay again nor recommend your properties to anyone, EVER! Worst interaction at any hotel over 60 yrs. Too bad for you. This will be on YELP and other services to warn people away from this terrible property and poor management decision makers.

The 3 rooms across the hall from our room were partying and slamming doirs and yelling until 2am...we reported it to the front desk at midnight but nothing was done.
