Frankly, we were surprised at how nice the rooms are! Spacious, perfectly clean, quiet, and well lit. The bed was very comfortable with nice sheets and pillows. And the bathroom was very modern, functional and visually appealing. It was great to have a fridge, coffee maker and blackout curtains. All told, a great price for a great place to stay.

Where do I begin…I want to start by saying that Catherine at the front desk was absolutely wonderful — professional, warm, and thorough. She is the highlight of this entire experience and deserves to be recognized.Unfortunately, everything after that went downhill.Billing: The room rate at check-in was double what was confirmed in my reservation email. Not a great start.Restaurant: We were told at check-in that the restaurant was open until 2:00 AM. When we went down at midnight, the bartender informed us they were closed because they had run out of food. That is a misrepresentation of services, plain and simple.Front Desk Night Staff: The overnight attendant (management knows who she is) was rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful when we asked for basic assistance finding food nearby. The attitude was unacceptable for any hospitality setting. The most serious issue — and the reason we left early: A hotel staff member entered our occupied room in the middle of the night WITHOUT knocking. My wife and I were in the room. Her only explanation was that she didn’t think anyone was in the room. When we checked out, the front desk agent confirmed that the hotel’s system did not reflect our room as occupied — which is a serious security failure. We no longer felt safe and checked out early. No guest should ever experience this. Ever.

We were in Baltimore for a conference and stayed at the Sonesta Hotel Inner Harbor on East Redwood Street. We'll be back, and we'll stay there again. The location is genuinely good. Just off Charles, two blocks (walking) from the harbor. We never touched the car. That alone tells you something. The rooms were quiet. Upgraded without being fussy. The kind of space where you actually sleep. But the staff is what stayed with us. Shenia, Tyra, Annette, Melissa.....Wow. Each of them brought something real to the interaction. Not scripted warmth. Not the performance of hospitality. Actual interest in whether we were taken care of. That's rarer than it should be, and it doesn't go unnoticed. Some hotels get the building right and miss the people. This one got both.

Bed was comfortable. Hotel is pretty on the inside. Everything in the room worked. Great location. Valet's were quick and courteous. Room was clean, as was the rest of the hotel. The neighborhood outside seemed a little sketchy.Disliked · Room was on the street side. Every street noise came straight through the window. Only had one shade to pull down, and it was semi-transparent, so all the light from the outside came in the room (fortunately I'm a heavy sleeper). Only 1 cup of regular coffee in the coffee maker in the room. Shower head was less than optimal. Hotel says it has breakfast, but I a) never saw it b) there's no menu for it on the restaurant web site c) I couldn't find it.
