If you are a fan of antiques, then do stop here when in Redmond. The selection is very good, and the owner is helpful and knowledgeable. Just off of a Highway 97, it is well located. There is something for everybody’s day at good value prices.

We stopped at this farmers market just to see what kinds of produce and craft they had. The vendors were all very nice and were quick to share information on their wares. I do need togive a shout out to THE PASTRY HUB. We bought a couple slices ofher sweet breads to share the next morning, peach and lemon blueberry. So good. the almost melted in our mouths. Glad I don't live close, they are so good I could make a habit of them. If you happen by the redmond farmers market on a Tuesday check out the pastry hub.

We have stopped here twice when we are in this part of Oregon. One can spend hours looking for and finding treasures! If you are interested in this sort of shopping, put it on your list for your upcoming visit

Redmond Farmer’s Co-Op / Antique Mall We checked out of our Best Western Hotel in Prineville and headed west on OR 126 / US 97 to Klamath Falls. Our original intention was take in any sites on our way to Klamath Falls and by luck we were able to find Smith Rock in the AAA tour book / Oregon tourism book. We were on our way to Smith Rock when my friends saw the antique mall at the intersection of OR 126 and US 97. As the name suggests it is a co-operative. The store’s contents are an eclectic mix of “one man’s junk is another man’s treasure” items. The store’s goods are divided into “booths” / sections owned by individual sellers. On the day we were there, the store was manned by a manager and an employee to oversee the store’s operation. Items I saw included the following: • Older electronic game systems • Collectibles including cabbage patch dolls • License plates • Glass bottles – liquor and medicine • Old wringer style washing machine • Plates and bowls • Furniture We spent about 45 minutes browsing at some of the decades old items. My friend who has a couple of Fire King coffee mugs saw one here and picked up one for $8 to add to his collection. He also purchased a Fire King plate for $3.50. There was also one section that sold new items. If you’re into antiques this is a good place to shop. Even if you’re not, it is an interesting place to browse. I give the attraction 3+ out of 5 rating. Notes and Tips • Check out the Facebook page • The drive from the Best Western Prineville to the Co-Op is about 20 miles. The Co-Op is about 9 miles from Smith Rock. • After our visit to the Co-Op and Smith Rock, we stopped by Shari’s for a quick lunch before heading on our way to the Shilo Inn at Klamath Falls. We stayed at the Shilo Inn for 1 night before heading out the next day for Crater Lake. • This was day 4 of our journey to Central Oregon and the Pacific Coast including Washington State. Our 8 day journey included Columbia River Gorge, Painted Hills, Smith Rock and Crater Lake. • The 7 Wonders of Oregon is a tourism marketing strategy. The 7 wonders include Crater Lake, Painted Hills, Smith Rock, Wallowas, Mount Hood, Columbia River Gorge and the Oregon coast. More by coincidence than anything else, we visited 5 of the 7 wonders. See my reviews.
