I visited American Dream with my wife in July 2026. It's a huge mall with stores, restaurants and big attractions inside, like the water park, the theme park and the indoor ski slope. There is something for everyone. Plan a full day if you want to see everything.

This huge mall offers everything in one place. Shopping of everything you are looking for, restaurants with food of all kinds, kids activities, swimming pools and water park and even amusement park, i rode the easiest rollercoaster with my daughter. For me its too big, you need more than a day to cover it all. For shopping lovers and those who look to spend a day indoors its a great place.

This mall was huge and it was packed. Even being packed it was enjoyable.

I wouldn’t go out of my way to visit ONLY this mall from another state but I happened to be in the area passing by. Parking was a bit over $6 on a weekend with no issues finding a spot. This mall was really fun and unique to explore! There was no shortage of things to see or do. I enjoyed seeing others having a good time. Definitely lives up to being one of the biggest malls in America

I was trying to avoid this place for the past 11 or 12 years and hoped my kids wouldn't see the place off route 3 on the way into NYC where we go often. Friends had a child's birthday event which was itself was okay. We only went because of this invitation. After my daughter wanted to go to the aquarium. $137 for 1 adult and 2 under 12's. Filthy place. Glass is dirty everywhere. They don't care or look after the marine life. So many empty tanks, so underwhelming with many domestic fish you can find in local swamps or polluted waterways. Perch, Bass and Striped Bass which belong on my dining table. Its pathetic and I mean filthy dirty and so were all the people passing through with their screaming brats. The Aquarium in Scranton PA is smaller, marine specimen variety good and much better that this overpriced domestic tank garbage so close to New York City who deserve better than this. The American Dream...good god give me a break! Their electric old and tired interactive signage doesn't help anyone find anything around the place. The parking lot is full of sinister looking individuals driving crapped out cars bumper to bumper who will run you over of you are not paying attention. They were like rats up a drain everywhere. Friends told me when discussing this place that their car was stolen from the parking lot. Not surprised all with that curb crawling that is going on there. They may have Louis Vuitton and Gucci shops there but the place is dirty and full of trash. I wouldn't dream of taking my children back there. Go to New York City for the day. A much better experience than this awful monstrosity of filth and riff raff. To get out of their parking lot they have banked narrow single lanes that twist but go steeply downwards. You cannot see the curbs or edges as you go down as they are badly banked and not engineered properly. They are steep as well so you cannot see the edges over the hood of your own vehicle. In Parking lot A there was one disabled space on a busy corner. No signposting for disabled parking anywhere on the way in. Just happened to spot the one space on a busy intersection/corner. Great for people who are disabled. Traffic coming at you on a corner from 3 directions. The traffic was chaos right there. It was opposite a huge amount of blocked off space which should be for the disabled is cordoned off and vacant with a few smashed cars from the accidents and people waiting for tow trucks and or the authorities. Its a mess. DON'T DO IT. Believe what you read here.
