This is my second time at this Moxy. Everything was great, the room was thoughtfully put together, great service and Moxy always has everything we need. The breakfast cafe is a great place to pause at the start of the day and the bar is a great way to end it. It is perfectly located to everything. We will be staying there again and again.

MoreQuick one night stay here. Check in was easy and they had my room as requested (away from elevator/quiet). Rooms are quite small, but for 1 person in NYC, perfectly adequate. Good bed and bedding, good soundproofing for the windows, I faced the street, didn't have any issues with street noise over night. Like that there are multiple food/drink options in the property, makes it easy to grab a bite or drink. Also liked that they had a handy little clothing steamer in the room! My only complaint would be that the housekeeping can be a bit loud as they start the morning room cleaning, my neighbor checked out early and by 10 am I was fully awake with the cleaning staff next door and in the hallway.
MoreI have been staying at the Moxy East Village 3 or 4 times a year since 2023 when my child started at NYU. The staff is always amazing, the rooms are always clean and the hotel always lively. It is in a great location, central to all the things you want to do in NYC.
MoreDissapoining experience. The place is a sh…show. Broken rooms, tiny spaces and poor housekeeping if you are lucky to get it. The bakery downstairs is really good but they are a scam. They put a 15 percent room charge on your bill even though you are right in front of them picking it up. Then they say they can’t remove it and the hotel won’t either. Total scam.The hotel has nice public spaces to hang in but drinks are overpriced and have minimal booze in them. Better choices exist.
