The Lark & Owl and the Alouette Bistro are FANTASTIC! Such a friendly atmosphere, very laid back and so welcoming. The food is terrific and ambience, tout simplement magnifique! A real treasure in Williamson County.

The Lark and Owl Bookshop is an ABSOLUTE delight! We have been there twice in the past two months and have found the staff to be warm, encouraging, and knowledgeable. Until today I was not a sci-fi reader, but the book purchased based on an L&O staff member's recommendations has catalyzed my interest. Pick up your copy of Kit Rocha's Deal with the Devil. Returned home today and am almost complete! Also, the kid's section is a treasure. They have an inviting area to read with the children. Take your time and enjoy reading, reviewing, inspecting, and being inspired. AFTER you have completed your visit with the Lark and Owl Bookshop, mosey (Texas term) over to the Georgetown library. You will note that the community supported this library and it is a magnet for reading, researching, and meeting neighbors. Visit the 2nd floor for used books. We bought only 20 books. Georgetown bibliophiles are blessed!!

Wow... this store is a hidden gem of Georgetown. Not only is it a fun and eclectic independent bookstore organized by subject matter with fun gifts throughout, but it also has wine, amazing cocktails, creative snacks and a full restaurant. And get this, it's some of the best food in Georgetown served in a charming courtyard setting or in a small inside space. If you are not into chicken fried X (not that anything is wrong with that), this restaurant is inventive, fresh and fun. Even has delicious vegan options -- try the cauliflower steak. And if you are more into the basics, they have a good burger and sandwiches -- all affordably priced. Highly recommend for a visit or a meal.

this is a really fun place. the bookstore, itself, is rather small. But the selection is great. The coffee is pretty good, not the greatest, and they have no idea what cold brew is (hint: it isn't iced regular coffee). I came here early and got a mimosa...at a bookstore! they also serve wine and a nice selection of snacks or small meals. The staff is very friendly and helpful. As an overall package, this place is a wonderful place to visit.

Lark and Owl is one of our very favorite places to hangout. The atmosphere is cozy, friendly, and uplifting. The L & O Bistro has great coffee, food and treats. You can wander the aisles of their very selected book collection and browse their special offering of boutique gifts, or just relax in their casual dining/coffee bar area. Free WiFi supports your productivity. And, there are always unique people to connect with. A great place to be!!!
