I came to town for a seminar. Due to a concert this was the only room available. First off I had to talk to the clerk through a half inch of glass intercoms are a thing now. We head up to the room and the pool looks like the Swamp Thing lives in it. The room smelled damp. The mirror that should of been on the bathroom door was a missing it looked like it was smashed in a fight. I came to this conclusion because of what appeared to be a bloodstain on the wall behind it. There was an old wash cloth hanging from the shower rod. The refrigerator had mold I was not going tempt fate and open that microwave. What really did it in was the roaches on the walls we noped out of there the next morning. We opted to head up to Meridian MS that evening versus staying there the second night. If you had a choice between staying here or a hobo camp choose the hobo camp it would be cheaper.

We stayed here the last week of April due to there being no other hotels throughout the city from a large event that was taking place. When we got to our room, the door was loose and barely locked. The room smelled like old furniture and mold. The air conditioner was blowing warm air. There was a chair beside the bathroom that had stains on it. The shower curtain smelled like wet clothes that had been sitting out. We also noted a noticeable gap between the door and frame that easily allowed any air to flow out. Two of the lamps didn’t work. When we glanced over at the pool, it had clearly not been cleaned in months. The water was a dark green and had trash in and around the pool. The sidewalks on the balcony leading to and from the room had bits of trash everywhere. If you are looking for a comfortable, clean environment for a good nights rest, this motel is NOT it. The ONLY reason we stayed was due to there not being anymore suitable hotels left in the city and the other people checking in seemed to be desperate for a place to stay as well. Absolutely despicable for $110 a night.

There are NO WORDS to describe the filth and rundown conditions of this facility. Choice Hotels should not list this place as part of their chain. ONLY stay here if there is an apocalyptic meltdown in progress and this is the only spot to stay inside to shelter yourself from nuclear meltdown exposure and zombies!

Stayed at the hotel for work. I had to stay there for 7 nights. I would have stayed longer but not after being there. The place was dirty, the sink was falling off the wall, the ceiling was falling down in pieces, the door lock sucked, Stains and holes on the floor, Frozen dirty towel in the freezer. They did change the fridge out because they could not remove it and it had mildew in it. I give them that. The 2nd day into our trip their hot water heater went out. They promised us it would be back on the next day but kept being held off. We asked them for some money back due to the cold showers. They did not listen. There was no maid service they said but I saw no one but 1 person who did check out. I understood due to covid some do it ever so often or swap out towels and trash.. We had to get the towels are self. They yelled at us if we put them outside the door to let them know we need a change. THEY HAD NO BREAKFAST has stated. All their amenities were off. Could not use the pool it was never filled, no hot tub, 1 machine for ice the others were broken, No business center. It basically a run-down hotel to sleep and leave. Due to the poor service when our week was up we moved to another hotel. Because they would not refund us and top of that the water heater was out. I was at the window to check out and they told him flat out the parts were on backorder for the water heater so therefore they had no idea when hot water would be back. They did give me my pet deposit back even though I had a service animal with a letter from my doctor they still charged me the deposit.RUN DOWN HOTEL Beware.

This was our stop on the way home. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. They provide a good breakfast, with the most important item on the menu…..coffee. I will stay here again when I stop in Baton Rouge
