We spent 4 nights at this hotel recently and were very pleased.Upon getting into our room we heard a baby screaming in the room next door. Called the front desk and they gladly moved us to a quieter room. Unfortunately one of the lights in the bathroom wasn't working and we couldn't see in there. Jacob at the front desk was incredibly helpful and got it fixed the next day. He and the others we dealt with at this hotel were all incredibly nice and knowledgeable. Breakfast is included with your stay here. The breakfast was great and the area where it was served was spotless and incredibly well maintained. We enjoyed decent coffee and food there (the make-yourself waffles were awesome).

Our suite was clean, kept up, and spacious. We didn't feel like we were on top of each other. We had a full kitchen and a dinning table. It was located perfectly for sight seeing. Just a few blocks from the space needle and a little further from pike place market. The staff was super helpful and very friendly. Would stay there again.

We spent five nights here this week. First, the location is great. Walking distance to the Space Needle and museums, with a convenient coffee shop and market within a block. Area felt safe to us.Staff were friendly and engaging. Everything clean and well kept, including the public areas that normally show foot traffic. Kudos! As mentioned in an earlier review, this is one of the oddest physical layouts for a property. I can't even explain it. Takes a day to figure out. Check in via app and the desk was quick and efficient. Can even select the room we wanted. Thumbs up for that.We had a one bedroom unit with the biggest walk in closet I've ever had in a hotel! Plenty of couch space and the living areas large. Even a fireplace! The kitchen; okay here is where we had a let down. Folks, if you are going to advertise a full kitchen, and charge for that feature, then it should make sense to actually stock the kitchen as though it will be used!Scant dishes, few bowls, no measuring cups/spoons, no sponges or can opener. No microwave friendly serving/cooking dishes. I get it; these types of items go missing, it's expensive for the hotel to replace and stock so many kitchens but that comes with the territory. Even if most people book, but don't use the kitchen, you have to be prepared that we will!We have spent many nights in rooms with kitchens and this was the poorest showing of them all. Have to also point out two other items; our room facing the street was kinda noisy at all hours. Not impossible, just annoying. And the toilet sounded like it would explode with each use. We are used to the more powerful commercial units however this one was really bad. It needs attention. As does the fridge, which ran very loud during compressor cycles. The breakfast was standard fare; waffles, eggs, etc. and the dining room good sized. Prepared items changed daily which was nice. And generally pretty tasty so good job with that. (however, why is it that no hotel of any brand can't really get oatmeal right? Too much water? IDK)Would we stay here again? Not sure. Location certainly would pull us back, but I suspect we would also peruse some of the nearby competition first. Will have to think that over. I can be convinced if these items are addressed.

We stayed three nights in August for a pre-cruise trip. Our suite had two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The beds were comfortable, and the layout gives each bedroom sufficient privacy. The kitchen is stocked with the basics, but lacked a cutting knife, which the housekeeper quickly gave us.On first arriving, we could not open the second bathroom door and the manager immediately sent an engineer to help . It turned out, we didn’t push the door hard enough! We appreciated the quick response, despite a bit of embarrassment on our part! The courteous responsiveness of the staff was evident during the stay, from manager, engineer, front desk and housekeepingSpecial thanks to front desk receptionist Kali for patiently answering questions when we checked in, and before we left. There was plenty of food at breakfast time and I enjoyed the entire lobby area during the day. There’s a station with coffee and tea and hot chocolate available 24 hours. fresh water in an urn with fruit is available at all times. The hotel will arrange a shuttle to the cruise pier, at $15 per person. The chauffeur was right on time and extremely helpful loading our luggage. if you want this service, inform the front desk peopke as soon as you arrive. This Hampton Inn is quite spread out (it looks as if two different buildings might have merged ?) and at first it was confusing finding our suite. Carefully follow the room number signs in the hallways. It’s a two-minute walk to a nearby grocery store, about a 5 to 10 minute easy walk to Seattle Center and the Space Needle. The # 4 Bus stops outside the back of the hotel. We were able to use it and other nearby public transport to get to various places in Seattle. Thanks for a good stay, Hampton Inn Downtown Seattle!
