tripadvisorThis museum is very close to SEA. I had a layover SEA, and I decided to take uber to see this museum. There are a lot of cool exhibitions. If you are an aviation enthusiast, you may want to hit this museum along with Boeing factory tour.
MoreAwesome experience, well exceeded our expectations. Lots to see, extremely friendly and knowledgeable docents that not only expanded our understanding of the exhibits but also shared personal stories about flying and restoring planes. Lots of different eras covered, and you can enjoy it from many different perspectives, from the big picture (an aircraft's general part in history) down to the small (one individual pilot's war experience as represented by his flight jacket and war journal). Both my kids went in expecting to just humor dad's interests for a few hours, but ended up picked it as their favorite part of our whole visit to Seattle. I had planned it as half our day - we stayed the full day. Desk staff was helpful with logistics (the museum is on both sides of the street). Bonus that it is easy to get to and from via bus #124!

MoreLocated only about 13 minutes south of Moritis Shin Dentistry of Seattle, the Museum of Flight is one of Seattle’s most fascinating attractions. It’s perfect for both aviation enthusiasts and families — with real aircraft, interactive exhibits, and even a space gallery. Walking through the retired Air Force One and Concorde was an unforgettable experience. The staff are knowledgeable, and everything is so well-maintained. A must-see destination that beautifully captures the history and future of flight. The museum café is also a pleasant surprise — perfect for a quick sandwich, coffee, or snack between exhibits. If you’re near the Medical Dental Building area, this makes for a perfect half-day trip!
MoreThis was my first time visiting this museum. And I had a great time. I enjoyed the tour and free time to wander around the grounds. The gift shop had a wide selection of souvenirs—I bought a sticker for my travel journal. Ample parking. Cafe on premises.
