Museum of flight down near Boeing field. Interactive exhibits with lots to see and do. Special exhibit on airline uniforms across the age of flight gives an interesting view of the bygone age of glamorous flying. Large souvenirs shop. Museum does private events in the evening.

Very fun and interactive. They have planes you can walk through, jets you can take photos in, these very fun spinning upside down plane simulations which i was scared to go upside down yet it was completely fine, a space area, kids place, and a hurricane simulator. Overall so fun and i know nothing about planes still because i didn’t read the articles which they also have those.

This museum is very close to SEA. I had a layover SEA, and I decided to take uber to see this museum. There are a lot of cool exhibitions. If you are an aviation enthusiast, you may want to hit this museum along with Boeing factory tour.

Awesome experience, well exceeded our expectations. Lots to see, extremely friendly and knowledgeable docents that not only expanded our understanding of the exhibits but also shared personal stories about flying and restoring planes. Lots of different eras covered, and you can enjoy it from many different perspectives, from the big picture (an aircraft's general part in history) down to the small (one individual pilot's war experience as represented by his flight jacket and war journal). Both my kids went in expecting to just humor dad's interests for a few hours, but ended up picked it as their favorite part of our whole visit to Seattle. I had planned it as half our day - we stayed the full day. Desk staff was helpful with logistics (the museum is on both sides of the street). Bonus that it is easy to get to and from via bus #124!

Interesting -- Interesting - Interesting.Every where you turn is another piece of history. Adults and kids alike. Great way to spend a morning. No lines. Easy to see everything. Explanations and history posted by objects.
