tripadvisorVery pretty and cute little book store, with a wide range of diverse and inclusive books. Specifically, I was looking for murder mystery’s and there was a large range!
MoreLovely bookstore in the beautiful Queen Anne neighborhood. Friendly and well-organized. Always happy to support a local bookshop!
MoreThis charming independent bookstore always beckons to me when I’m on Queen Anne Hill and I make it a point to stop by. Set back from Queen Anne Avenue North, the relatively small shop has a nice selection of books, covering most genres. Its offerings encompass all age groups. Nicely laid out, the store’s welcoming atmosphere invites visitors to browse. Pleasant, extremely knowledgeable staff approach quickly to offer help, if needed. On my most recent visit, I headed to the Travel section, but it had been moved since my last trip to Seattle. One of the employees quickly took me to its new location. Staff stand ready to order a desired volume if it is not in stock. The store also sells a variety of sundries, including lovely cards. I always buy a few, and I generally leave with a book or two. One of my favorite pastimes is to begin reading a new purchase at one of the tables on the porch shared by the bookshop and Queen Anne Coffee. That’s my favorite activity in the neighborhood — an intriguing story from Queen Anne Book Company and a great cup of brew. I drove here in June and found free nearby street parking with ease. For those visiting Kerry Park for the amazing views, it is about a 15-minute walk to the bookstore. Buses also stop in the vicinity.
MoreThis quaint, cozy bookstore is an absolute gem. Nestled away in the friendly, community-focused Queen Anne neighborhood, the Queen Anne Book Company welcomes visitors with rare warmth and undisputed excellence in book selection. Focused on its liberal approach, you'll find books that embrace the Seattle outlook front-and-center, and the delightfully merchandised store feels like a joy to work in for the extremely kind and happy staff. Nothing here feels inauthentic. It truly is a wonderful place to pop in if you have the chance.
MoreI love book stores! When I walked in I felt like I stepped into a small town book shop. These books were new, not used. The workers were very helpful! I loved walking around looking for the perfect read, and enjoyed the staff's personal reviews on books throughout the shop. If you enjoy finding the perfect book, here's your shop! There are several cozy coffee shops nearby for you to read at!
