tripadvisorWe just returned from the 10/12 tour, and it was a fantastic experience. Despite a full boat, there was still plenty of room to move around comfortably. The marine biologist was not only highly knowledgeable but also incredibly friendly, patiently answering passengers' questions about marine life. The captain and the rest of the crew were equally professional and welcoming. The onboard café offered a good selection of both hot and cold food, snacks, and drinks, all at reasonable prices. The boat itself was clean, simple, and provided a smooth ride. We were fortunate to see plenty of orcas, humpbacks, and other marine wildlife. It's clear that the team running this tour genuinely cares about making it a memorable experience, and their passion really shines through.
MoreWhat a fantastic experience! We didn't see whales on our first trip - they tried so hard, even staying out an extra hour, so 6 years later we were back at a discount and saw Orcas, seals and sea lions. The crew was fabulous! We were given plenty of opportunities to view the 2 pods with excellent education on the families we were viewing. They even helped me out afterwards when my flash drive of pictures was thrown away. Couldn't be more pleased with my experience and great crew members! I highly recommend this company.
MoreWe accidentally booked through this company thinking they went out of Port Angeles. They made the cancellation process extremely smooth and even gave us a recommendation for a Port Angeles whale watching company. This is the kind of business I will be happy to support in the future if we end up in the Anacortes, Washington area. Very thankful for our interaction with them, and I would highly recommend them to others.
MoreThe boat was perfect for viewing the 3 different pods of killer whales we observed on the 4+ hour cruise. The boat is quite large with 3 levels of 360 degree outside viewing access. Our captain and crew were knowledgeable and catered to all our requests. The galley served hot and cold drinks and food which was convenient as the tour bridged lunch. You can bring your own food on board if you wish. A wonderful experience.
MoreWe really enjoyed our whale watching trip on Island Adventures. I was worried about motion sickness, but I think the catamaran helped with that. We sat inside since it was quite cold/windy on the decks, but we did go outside frequently to see things. The naturalist provided very useful information throughout the trip. She also took pictures which she loaded on a flash drive for passengers to buy - this was good since my own pictures weren't anywhere near as good. We saw minke whales & then a pod of 7 killer whales. Also saw eagles & sea lions.
