Island Express is awesome! As a full-time resident of Decatur Island, I use them all the time as my primary source for transportation on and off the island. The negative reviews are from years ago, when another party owned the business. The current owners have expanded the company and now have four boats on the water and operated numerous trips daily between the islands. I couldn't be more pleased with their service!

Every detail from booking to directions to boarding was handled in a very friendly and professional way. Everyone I had interactions with treated me with kindness and courtesy. Excellent service and highly recommend, ship Captains are very knowledgeable and took the time to answer all my questions while in route. Could not have asked for a better experience.

We regularly use Island Express to get to our cabin on a ferryless island. They are good people and we have enjoyed the service for many years. It is a small business so you will probably have to leave a message and/or email them then they will get back to you within a day. They depend on weather and tides for some islands because they can unload on the beach. Great way to get to an island with few people.

Easy trip to Orcas with this charter. They are very convenient and pleasant to do business with. They are located near the Old Salts so bus riders coming from Seattle could possibly get an easy hop to the islands directly from here.
