Did a 5-day kayak tour from Friday Harbor to Sucia Island. Our guide, Brandon, was excellent; patient, instructive, friendly, and a great chef! He took all our abilities and desires into account, and was always willing to adjust plans based on how the group was doing. We saw all sorts of marine mammals (river otters, harbor seals, sea lions) and birds. Would definitely book again!

We had a wonderful 5-day kayak trip with our guide Brendon! We stayed on 3 islands and loved exploring and soaking in everything each had to offer. As beginner kayakers, we especially appreciated Brendon’s professionalism, safety consciousness, knowledge of the area, and delicious meals. He tailored our trip based on our desires and talked us through the options. He gave us a wonderful taste of the San Juan islands. We highly recommend this group!

A magical experience! We went on this trip with our 12 and 14 year-old boys. Our boys said it was one of the most amazing things they have ever seen and we totally agree. Our guides were amazing. They made sure we were safe and I loved how they stopped to talk about what we were seeing and share different stories. They even had an extra pair of gloves for our 12-year-old son to use so his hands would not be so cold. On that note, I do recommend bringing gloves even in summer. That water is cold at night! Overall 10, out of 10 experience.

This was such a great experience!! We were treated to lots of glowing bioluminescent organisms. I loved swishing my paddle around for a nice show. Naomi and Brandon were a great team and safety was first. Discovery was a great choice we saw other paying clients toting their own boat to and from the water. Brandon did it all for us. Plus the other operators did not go out as long. Was so happy I booked the right tour. Highly recommend discovery and ask for Naomi and Brandon together. They are the best!!

Naomi was a great guide! We had a blast! The weather was beautiful and Naomi was very informative and also a fun guide. This was my 1st time sea kayaking and Naomi did a great job explaining how to use the kayaks.
