tripadvisorThis is the second year in a row we have attended a show at the San Juan community Theatre on our trip to the San Juan Islands. Last year’s show was wacky and fun and over the top and this year’s show was serious and intense and very well acted. What a great little theater hidden in the San Juans!
MoreSan Juan Community Theatre is a superlative venue for concerts, plays and more. Offering great views and acoustics from everywhere in the house, it's as intimate as it is professional. Enjoyed an amazing time, sold-out show, with the singular folk-rock legend Al Stewart (creator of Roads to Moscow and countless other brilliant songs) - and his band, The Empty Pockets. Very fortunate to be in such a room for such an experience. A credit to staff, volunteers and community.
MoreSan Juan Community Theatre's reputation for touring shows, music, productions, and more is incredible. Visitors and locals love the shows, and the theatre itself is a jewel of a space that overlooks the harbor--a beloved landmark to watch for from the ferry. Guest artists love to come here, everyone loves the San Juan Islands, and there is a strong population of local artists/performers who bring a world of experiences to this local stage.
MoreThe Community Theater is an incredible venue for our small town and such talent and productions. We are truly blessed to have such a lovely Theater. Up next is TED X on 9/23
MorePigs on the Wing Pink Floyd tribute band did a fabulous job covering The Wall. A two night fitting tribute to a brilliant band. My 86 year old husband had not been aware of the British band until I bought the tickets. He's now such a fan. The Friday Harbor Community theater is an intimate venue conveniently located at the end of our driveway. Walking distance from most resorts in the harbor. A fun group of mostly local residents and a few visitors like us. The ticket prices are reasonable, the theater is clean, and the acoustics are terrific. The music, plays, and artists change constantly so there's a good opportunity to see something every week that everyone will like.
