I had been to this area once before, prior to the playground and surrounding park having been renovated and expanded with the splash park. The kiddos, age 5 & 10, had a great time in the splashground, where they got drenched, dried out and got drenched again. I think that kids over the age of 12 or 13 may be too cool for the fun, but my bunch was not. The playground area sports picnic tables in the shade and the sun, a glassed-in room that looks to be available to reserve for group functions and..TA DA!..clean and modern bathrooms that were fully stocked. Even the 10 year-old commented on that!
