The Castle is a very good tour. It was an amazing transformation into a modern day home. As with most elegant period-home tours, the home history was most unique. It costs $50., which they said goes to charity. Should that be the case, okay, it's a donation. But the tour book given to us stated that only 20% goes to charity. They can put on more tours if the cost was more affordable. We could afford it, but most people wouldn't pay over $100 for a tour for two, PLUS fees and tax. On the positive end, I thought the tour guides were good. GREAT JOB renovating JO and Chip Gaines.

This tour was beyond brilliant. My husband and I did this and were the only ones on the tour, so it was exceptionally good. The guide was do informative and we really learned a lot not only about the renovation but about Chip and Joanna and what beautiful people they are. We learnt the fee for the tour is used to assist homeless youth. We were really impressed. Would love if we could get HGTV or Magnolia in Australia

We toured the Castle and absolutely loved it! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the history and all the renovations done by Chip and Joanna Gaines. Loved seeing all the different rooms, fireplaces, and learning how design decisions were made.

Beautiful and well kept. Would recommend just going to see the location and the beautiful area that this castle is in. I would love to see the inside.

We were so excited to visit Waco and Magnolia Silo’s as we are big “Fixer Upper” fans. Once we began making our reservations, hoping to stay at the hotel that is part of their franchise, then seeing the nightly rates!! Well, we were appalled. Same for touring Cottonland, way too pricey for our blood. Chip & Joanna were having a big October event at the Silo’s and for $75pp you could attend. WOW We changed our plans and stayed in Dallas for much less and did 3 tours for the price of one here. It’s such a shame that what once seemed like caring, giving couple, have now priced the majority of their fans right out of their empire. Best wishes from afar.
