Paddle pub is a great group experience! Mitch and Nick were fantastic hosts. The length of our journey was plenty of time. I highly recommend checking them out!

Our second year; we love the Paddle Pub! We plan to go every summer in the future. Relaxing fun ride on Lake Waubesa with up to 12 friends/family. Uber to the Breakwater for pre-ride food/cocktails, and enjoy your time safe and worry free. Captain Isaac was great, thank you!

Such a fun time! The captain was super nice and fun! I would suggest this for a work event, family or friends get together. Hope to do this again soon.

We took the boat out on the 4th of July to see the fireworks on the lake. Out boat driver was Remi, and he was an absolute blast. The boat had speakers, so we could plag our own music, and Remi even sang with us a bit. His route in Monana has stops for icecream and/or booze, and he stopped to let us swim in the lake for a bit. Highly recommend this boat trip!

As big fans of the peddle pub bikes around Madison our group was super excited to try the paddle pub boat this year instead. We arrived 15 minutes ahead of time as instructed by the many many emails sent in advanced and followed the signs to check in. We arrived to an empty boat covered in trash and cans and a boat that clearly had no bathroom on board despite the website saying it had one in multiple places. The captain arrived only 5 minutes before the scheduled tour departure time and immediately shoo'ed our group off the dock rudely stating that he was not ready yet because our group arrived early. This immediately set the tone a little uncomfortable. Main disappointment was that this is not a peddling adventure at all. The boat was drivin via motor and the paddle wheel remained out of the water almost the entire boat ride; the captain even downright refused our group request to try peddling without the motor despite this being advertised as a paddle pub. Even if it was a peddling boat, a few of the peddles or seats were broken. Since the peddling is pointless, your instinct would be to mingle or hang out on the pontoon as a boat. But you actually can't do that freely either because if too much weight goes to the front of the boat where the only non bike seats are water comes over the front (and the captain will call you out with weight based jokes) so most guests remained in their seats with a few people standing the full tour. The only reason for the two star review versus one is because of time spent with good friends out on the water on a beautiful night. The captain apologized for the differences noted on the website regarding advertising such as the bathroom and swimming and offered a small discount, but ultimately we were really disappointed by this experience.If you want a high energy peddling adventure do the bikes around downtown. If you want a boat ride, find a pontoon to rent with comfortable seating, space to socialize, and swimming options.
