Called to ask pricing on an airport transfer from Las Vegas McClarran airport to the Wynn hotel for 4 people and they quoted $446.00....yes, you read that correctly ....total ripoff

I booked and paid for airport transfers with Mears as part of my holiday package with Virgin. When I arrived in Las Vegas on 15th May no transport was waiting. I was alone in a strange city and I am hard of hearing. I tried both phone numbers given to me but all I received were recorded messages. After 2 hours I contacted Virgin who were also unable to communicate with Mears. I was advised to get a taxi and that Virgin would reimburse my prebooked cost. On 19th May I contacted Virgin for reassurance about my booking with Mears for my flight home on 22nd May. On 20th May I received a message from Virgin that I would receive confirmation of the pick up time the following morning (21st). At 7pm on the 21st I had heard nothing so contacted Virgin again.At 2AM on 22nd May I received a message that Mears had no transport available.At no time did Mears contact me or offer an apology.

Our driver was there on both occasions to collect us from the airport to our Hotel and then from our Hotel to the airport. Both drivers were excellent. They arrived on time, we had good conversations whilst driving. A Big thankyou to Mears Transport for a job well done.
