Celebrating 91 years, Middendorf’s Slidell is the second location of the iconic Louisiana Restaurant known as the "Home of the World Famous Original Thin Fried Catfish." The same Thin Fried Catfish recipe has been used since 1934. We've come a long way in 90 years. Our buildings might be big now, but we're still a small business, locally owned and operated. We're a family friendly seafood restaurant filled with beautiful wood, down home comfort and a touch of whimsy. We're conveniently located right off the interstate with plenty of parking, even for buses and RVs. We have indoor and outdoor dining available. The Porch is open air, relaxing and always seems to have a lovely breeze. The Porch overlooks an inviting Sand Play Area for the kids featuring palm trees, tiki huts and water fountains.
