Such a fun place to stop on our travels along Route 66. Lots of great photo ops! You don't need a lot of time, but make sure to stop.

We made a quick stop, in Adrian, at the Route 66 Midpoint. This place is so cute! My parents, on their 1953 honeymoon, traveled to California on Route 66. I felt this stop was very special to me. The gift shop is inside the cafe.Sweet people & a cool spot for pictures.

My husband and I were traveling back to Texas from New Mexico and he mentioned there was a little town in Texas that was the midway point on Route 66; so I goggled it (Adrian). To our surprise there is a sign which is a great photo op and there are markings on the Highway too. Another couple had stopped at the same time, so perfect timing to get a photo of us both. Unfortunately the cafe was not open at the time. If you’re passing through on I40, it’s worth the stop, plus you get to stretch your legs at the same time. All of friends on social media loved the photos we posted!

Such a fun stop! If you're traveling down Route 66, be sure to stop and get a picture of the midpoint sign. It's a small detour of Highway 40, and this road is nice and quiet with not much traffic. We were able to stand in the road and get pics without any cars heading towards us. It was very nostalgic. There is a cafe across the street for breakfast and lunch, but check the website to see if it's open.

As the name infers, this is the mid way point on Rte 66. And this place is a gem found in the middle of nowhere ... Adrian, TX. The menu looked amazing but we had just had breakfast and ordered only Chicken Salad, which was wonderful. The memorabilia and history of this place is amazing!
