In keeping with the idea of 'Keep Austin Weird,' there are a few must-dos that folks gravitate toward. Pictures in front of murals is one of them. Yeah, we've done the whole 'I Love You So Much' mural, but looking for a better experience we finally found it. We visit Austin several times a year to visit grandkids and this backdrop provided a wonderful opportunity for the family photo album. And, as has been the case for many sites of interest, they even have a set up for the camera to allow everyone to be photographed sans timer. We were not disappointed. We have some lovely gems for the family archives.If you're looking for a special place to memorialize a photo with loved ones, this is it. Don't be daunted by the location or directions. Hang in there. It is well worth the trip.

Even though the sun affects the pictures. it is a cute mural. there is parking , and there is a geocache near by.

This is an original Austin mural. Tucked into a neighborhood. You have to go find it, but copies of it are everywhere, in print, on socks, on place mats and more. Worth checking out to take a photo of. Now, there are even a few benches there where you can sit and check it out if you want. If you are going to tour the city to see the murals around town you will surely want to check this one out. Oh, you need to go in the morning and avoid the afternoon shadows like you see in the cover photo for this page.

Kind of hard to get to and take a pic. Didn’t even realize it was on a random building and moving too fast you would miss it.
