Dropped off toys at children's hospital and decided to try a place nearby. Excellent atmosphere with an equally great location right by the water. The staff was very nice. Full bar and plenty of beers on tap to choose from. Seafood Louis was very fresh and a good portion. The homemade dressing was outstanding. I think it was a 1000 island mix with a whole lot more going on. Burger was equally generous. Tots were hit and tasty. Parking in yellow areas only. Otherwise, you pay. Pull tabs and shuffleboard are available.

It is usually a treat for me to have nachos for lunch, but their ‘taco salad’ was a huge disappointment. Stale chips (how is this even possible?), a slight bit of meat, iceberg lettuce not even cut up. Served with some ok salsa and very mediocre guacamole. Not worth it.

Service 4, waterfront bar ambiance 3.5, drinks 3, food 1. Don’t go hungry. The burger and fish sandwich were unappetizing at best and inedible at worst.

If you're craving a juicy burger and a cold beer, then head over to Rock the Dock Pub & Grill in Tacoma. Located on Dock Street along the Foss Waterway, the pub is a great place to meet up with friends. We had a party of six and we comfortably sat inside. If you'd like to sit outside, there is patio seating overlooking the water. For burgers, I'd recommend the Black & Bleu Burger with bleu cheese crumbles, bacon, and grilled onions over an angus beef patty on a brioche bun. One of the best burgers I've had in Tacoma!

I love, love, love ROCK THE DOCK. Great food, attentive servers, nice view. Not a missed beat. I tell all my friends and visitors to Tacoma about this place.
