The Irish Cultural Center located in a faux-castle on Central Avenue is an ideal spot to display everything related to the Emerald Isle. The center is used for various functions, festivals, programs, concerts and exhibitions, where its mission is to familiarize the people of Arizona with the Irish culture and provide an avenue for art and education. The programs consist of everything from literature, history, crafts, drama, travel, art, music and dance. While you're here, the Japanese Friendship Garden on the same campus is a nice place to visit as well.

tripadvisorWe walked in and found a crew setting up chairs for an event. They informed us that it was closed to the public for the day, which was Saturday of Labor Day weekend.
MoreThe Irish Cultural Center and McClelland Library is truly a unique gem in the heart of Phoenix. The Library building resembles an Irish Castle with the beauty of an Irish Cottage next door. Great learning experience here about the history of Ireland and it's culture. It also houses a rare facsimile of the Book of Kells which was fantastic to see. I would highly recommend visiting here!
MoreThis is a library centering on Irish culture. In addition, there is a replica of a traditional Irish home and of an Irish town community building. The center offers research facilities based on Irish culture and genealogy. This is a small but interesting stop in Central Phoenix's museum area.
MoreLots to see and do here whether it is to attend a function in the great hall or visit the Irish Cultural Centre and McClelland Library.
MoreWent to the website, found it was showing open till 3pm.....drove from Buckeye to central Phoenix to go here. It's closed. Maybe updating the website to accurately show hours would be helpful. I have no idea what to rate it, because I can't actually visit. As a result, I'll do a 2/5 because this app won't let me leave it blank
