Great park for kids dogs families.

By St Mary’s River. Lovely place, nice area. Only a brief stop for us on our long road trip but worth it.We just did a very short loop walk over one bridge, an old wrought iron bridge then over a tree top walk bridge, which was high ish above the riverbank, then back over another bridge, St Margarets. Lovely play area and lots of water features.

Plants and landscape are amazing, the culture on weekend evenings is diverse and everyone keeps the park clean which is cool. Bring ping pong paddles or bags for corn hole if you’re into that.

Promenade Park was a perfect place to spend the day as a family! Plenty of places to hang out and enjoy the summer weather. Cocktails, snacks, swings, water fountains….all very relaxing / enjoyable. We took the 90 min narrated tour on the river aboard the Sweet Breeze. The history was very interesting. Growing up in Fort Wayne you never could see the city from the river, and now you can! Highly recommend! Go Fort Wayne!

There is a park, splash area for kids, snack shack, boat rides, kayaking, and beauty walking path. It is such a cool place. We had a great time.
