Reviews
tripadvisorCleanest hotel I’ve ever seen. A+++ Obviously the staff takes great pride.
MoreGot a complimentary pickup from Abilene Regional Airport! The driver was extremely nice and also works maintenance here. The front desk is very nice. The rooms are very clean and I know that is always tough with kitchenettes. There are 2 Home2suites in this city and I’ve stayed at both. This one is closer to the airport so it just depends on which location suits you. Both are great, this is the only Home2Suites that offers complimentary airport shuttle. Prices for Home2Suites in Abilene can get very high bc of the AI Data Center build, the university and conferences is causing a boom in business travelers with very little accommodations avail in area but it’s worth it! I tried walking to the nearest grocery store (Walmart) and it is a bit of a trek, that’s when I realized I couldn’t go anywhere this town without a car :)
MoreGreat accommodations--loved having the extra room to stretch out after being on a 10-day road trip. Wish I hadn't been in such a rush to blow through town (I was tired and wanted to get home) because this room would've been great for an extended stay. Can't comment on the breakfast because I got downstairs too late; this was the only fly in the ointment. It was a Sunday morning and I wish the hotel would've had a little longer for guests to make it downstairs after sleeping in a little bit. Breakfast shut down at 10 am... 10:30 would've been better. But the staff person was really nice and retrieved a couple of muffins for me. The room itself was laid out nicely, with plenty of electrical outlets for personal electronics. I liked having a mini kitchen in the room too, with the full-sized fridge. There was a small supply of dishes, if you are staying more than overnight. Bathroom had good countertop space plus a shelf underneath the sink if you needed more storage for your own stuff. If you're on a work trip, there was great space around the desk area, again with additional storage above the desk. The staff I interacted with all were very personable and professional. MoreStayed here for couple nice on a recent business trip.Online self selection and check in of the room was not working. I was keep getting error message. When called (8 hrs before arrival) and asked for a specific room that I see open and available online I was told it’s not available.Room was big and looked clean at first but I noticed some disturbing spots around the night stand and also small hair (from shaving) all over the bathroomNo body lotion was available in the bathroom as well. First time I’ve seen that part missing Breakfast was nice touch and they have some unique (at least for me ) items. Fresh made breakfast sandwiches and made by order yogurt.Didn’t felt appreciated as Diamond member either.Elevators are past due their inspection and one of them the call in button didn’t work. So if you are on first floor you need to push the button of the other elevator to call it in.
MoreThis was my first experience with this hotel brand. Reception was very friendly. Gave me 2 complimentary bottles of water upon arrival. Room was large and clean. Large TV worked well. A/C and internet worked well. Large room included a couch and ottoman to rest my weary feet on. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Quiet. Nice kitchen area with real dishes.
