Room 127 was an excellent room if your in a wheelchair. Little tight at the sink if your in a power chair. Awesome roll in shower, soap dispensers are not at chair level, making them unusable. It didn't matter because we never had any hot water. The bed was very comfortable, the pillows awesome. Only problem with the bed is the mattress is a smooth wooded platform, transferring my husband from his wheelchair to the bed, the mattress always moved with him and then I would bang my legs against the platform! Location was close to downtown, not really walking distance and also close to Baylor. Ample parking. Layout of the room was very nice, lots of flat surfaces to put luggage and backpacks on. Even with the issues listed, would stay here again.

The hotel was nice. No complaints except for sleep quality. We enjoyed the Jenga and pool table in the bar area. The mattress was a disaster. So hard…I barely slept. Will not revisit Aloft in the future, assuming they have the same mattresses.

The hotel looks nice and is clean. No complaints on that. But don’t plan to get your kids or yourself to bed early! There was music blaring from the pool area until late! It was louder than the TV in our room. I checked - no one out there. I asked the front desk if they could turn it down since no one was in the pool area. She said she didn’t know how. I was told maybe the night crew would turn it down. I didn’t pay for this room so I could listen to dance music thru the walls when I needed to sleep. Won’t book again.

Stayed here on our way to the gulf and it could not have been better. Rooms were new and clean. Bar was busy but service was still fast and drinks were fantastic and a fair price. Pool was nice as it is connected to an area with fire pits and comfortable seating to relax in while at the pool (directly outside of the bar).

If you arrive after midnight the Manager Julio Jordan will cancel your reservation. No matter how much you try to talk to him to explain that your flight was delayed, that it is 1 in the morning and that your kids are tired. He won’t give you a room. Even if customer service talks to him to respect the reservation. He won’t do it. But don’t worry, if this happens to you; customer service will get you a reservation in a better hotel with a great price in a better zone (AC Hotel). This hotel will give you a room, no matter how late you arrived. If you booked Aloft through Hotwire make sure to call them. Nelson will help you get a refund for the cancellation, and will offer to book you a hotel if you need. If you are traveling late at night, or know you will be, do not book Aloft!
