Only stopped to stretch our legs, but couldn’t help being drawn to this beautiful lake. They have a campground and picnic tables and swimming beach.

This is a quiet, secluded park that has a nice grassy play area, several picnic tables and two covered gazebos. There are swings and a sand volleyball court and there are four outhouses. While you’re not allowed to swim in the lake, you can canoe, paddleboard, kayak.

We did a stop at the lake on our drive. Its a beautiful place to relax. My son loved the park and there were dogs walking around. They have a beach area. The lake is clear and you can see the reflection of the mountains.

This is a nice Lake with lots of park facilities, was nice and quiet on a week day but guess busier on the weekends, well worth a look just of the highway
