tripadvisorThe controlled waterfall with colorful and changing lights are mesmerizing. We sat on the benches and gazed with delight for a long time.
MoreMy husband and I went to Vera Hall Minter Park on a Monday afternoon. The very small park is located in historic downtown Abilene. The park has a beautiful bronze tooth fairy (Queen Toothiana) statue, some large cut stone benches and a pretty waterfall feature. There are little lights on wire arches so I bet that is pretty at night. The park is clean and the small lawn was well maintained. The park is free to use and is open daily. It is nice to sit near the waterfall feature under the oaks trees.
MoreThe reconstructed park is now open and unlike before, it is accessible to all people. The new computer controlled waterfall with lights is pretty amazing.
MoreWe were downtown taking in the sites when we discovered this area was under construction. Maybe next trip
