Howard E. Bowers, MD, FACS specializes in acute care surgical conditions as well as a wide variety of general surgical problems. He has a special interest in minimally invasive surgeries. He welcomes consultation with primary care providers and subspecialties to provide the highest quality general surgery service. Dr. Bowers is a member of the American College of Surgeons. He served 15 years in the U.S. Air Force and continues to serve in the Idaho Air National Guard. In his free time, Dr. Bowers enjoys outdoor activities like hiking, mountain biking, snow boarding, fishing, and water sports.
