Great place to take a walk along the river. Check out the Michael S. Van Leesten bridge, it is a very nice bridge. River winds through center of downtown and close to areas to see like the Ice rink, state house, and the park. They offer kayaking and boat tours on the river as well. Highly recommend, and free!

We visited today as part of our visit to Providence and found this was a great stop for the river views! There’s not a whole lot to do in the area, but there’s a really nice walkway around the river and a fantastic bridge over the water as well, which is a great photo spot. There’s some cute food trucks around the area, but open later in the day during the week. I would spend about 30-45 minutes walking around here! But would definitely make a must stop!
