Awesome store that is a must see! Super friendly staff that's eager to help and answer any questions. I'll definitely stop through again next time I'm in Anchorage!

Alaska Ivory Exchange isn’t a very inspiring name for an inspired gallery. So don’t be put off by the dreary storefront or slightly cheesy store name. This shop is worth visiting for serious arts tourists rather than souvenir hunters. This is especially true for the native carvings, large and small. They are crafted by known, respected artists and not from cast molds. And if you meet and chat with the knowledgeable and charming co-owner, Kay, all the better. Highly recommend!
