Was disappointed in my stay. Although they advertised a gym/fitness room, they did not have one. The cereal at breakfast was stale as well as the bread. In the room, the room phone did not work so couldn't get a wake up call. They offered to give me a wake up knock which did not happen. My room was unfortunately the corner room so I had noise from two different streets. Location was good. walking distance to all downtown locations. Neither lobby computer worked and person at front desk made comment wow i would have thought they would be fixed by now. they have been out for a while. When I asked if they could print out my boarding pass, they indicated the printer at the front desk didn't have any toner. Not sure how (or if) they were printing out bills/receipts. Beds were comfortable, rooms had microwave and mini fridge and water in shower had power and warmth.

I agree with another reviewer that this hotel needs renovation and it is very worn out, but that was the least of my concerns. They did NOT clean our room the whole 4 days we were there. No clean towels, they did not make the bed or empty our garbage. At over $400 a night you would assume they would clean the rooms. I went down and talked to the front desk and she said for guests staying longer we only clean the rooms every third day! I told her we needed towels and she said I will get you some and bring them to your room as soon as my co-worker comes back. I waited until 8:30 pm and went down to ask again. Her and her co-worker were both on their cell phones and the towels were sitting on the counter. I also told her we needed soap and the room needed to be cleaned. She told me she would have housekeeping come up and do some light cleaning. The only thing they did was put 2 tiny bars of soap on the counter. Me and my husband will never stay at a Clarion Suite again. We should NOT have to clean our room and empty trash at $400 a night. We did not leave a tip because they didn't do anything to deserve one!

If I could give 0 stars, I would. We booked a cruise on NCL and as part of that we added four days in Anchorage and Denali National Park so we had no say so where we stayed once we left our stateroom on the ship as it was prepaid. Tge cruise partof our trip was wonderful but this....This hotel is a DUMP. They obviously spruced up the outside trying to put lipstick on this pig, but it is awful inside. The room (305) we had the first night there was awful. The beds sagged in the middle and the box springs looked like what my parents had as hand me downs in the 1960's, as did the furniture. If that wasn't bad enough, there was dirt/mold on the inside lid of the ice bucket, a crack and hair in the bathroom sink, the bottom of the refrigerator had rust, the bathroom tile grout was filthy, the tile was cracked in several places, and the bathtub looked yellowish and the grab bar had been broken off leaving two holes. I was afraid to go barefoot. After falling asleep for a few hours I woke up thinking about bed bugs and couldn't go back to sleep. In the morning we went downstairs and I attempted to get a cup of coffee. The wood box they had single serve cups of creamer in was close to empty and there was a layer of dirt and grit on the bottom and built up in the corners, which made me squeamish. Needless to say, I attempted to eat some breakfast but the only thing I felt safe in eating was a container of yogurt. The second night we stayed, our room (303) still had the feel of an old Days Inn but it was cleaner so I did leave a tip for housekeeping. I am posting pics of what conditions we found so you know I'm not exaggerating. Another member of this group tried to book a second night just so he wouldn't have to sit in the lobby from 11 am to 10 pm waiting for the airport shuttle and they quoted him $400 for that one night!Oh, and if your tour guide tells you the hotel will safely and securely keep your luggage in a locked room, don't believe them. They stored everyones luggage in a old conference room with an unlocked door on the first floor that anyone can walk into. We had expensive camera equipment and some pricey things purchased on our cruise. The hotel clerk made a big deal about filling out special claim tags that we had to have to get our luggage back but we all just opened the door, walked in and got it, no questions asked, no asking for claim tickets. Fortunately, it was all still there.

Our check in took forever as there was a group from cruise. The staff seemed very stressed. The hotel is quite dated & the hallways needed to be vacuumed. They didn’t have any washing detergent, but did find us some eventually, the gym was closed. Cookies on arrival were a nice touch. We wouldn’t stay there again.
