A nice place to lay your head. We arrived in Anchorage at nearly midnight and needed to be at the train station at 5:30am. We didn't see the logic in picking an expensive hotel with lots of amenities we wouldn't use. The Ingra House fit the bill. It was clean and comfortable. Our room had a full size fridge and blackout curtains (a must for Alaska summers). The gentleman I spoke to on the phone was very helpful when told we would be arriving after the front desk had closed for the night. Because we were there such a short time we never saw another guest. We would surely stay here again!

The room had lot of noise from traffic and aircraft. There is no ice available! Did not like shared bathroom experience. They did send me an email advising of shared bathroom - but not to my personal email - so I did not see - I would have cancelled. Would not stay there again .

We only needed a place for one night. And it was the best price I could find in expensive Anchorage. I should have researched better. It's not a house, it's not a hotel. It's a motel. Ingra Motel is a better description. We didn't mind having a shared bathroom. The place was clean BUT it's on a very busy road in a questionable part of town. Seriously! I almost cried when I saw the room. It's a two story rectangular building. Busy noisy street side (our room) and opposite side. And the room was hot! We ended up checking out, and going somewhere else. So can't say if the bed was comfortable or not. On a positive the gal checking us in was very nice and communication from the motel was excellent.

Great location for our needs. 4min from train station. 20min walk to downtown. This is similar to a hostel, sharing bathroom and kitchen - which always makes me nervous. While some of the place is dated. It was clean and staff were friendly. One bathroom was older and the other modern (3rd floor) pics of bathroom. You hear a train like every hour starting at like 8am. But aside from that- it was perfect for our needs

This hotel is minimal, but exactly what we needed. The room is a decent size and the shared bathrooms were clean and spacious. The staff was amazing, they helped us check in at a very late hour (11pm-ish?) and when we wanted to hold our bags there after check out, they gladly accommodated us.
