Booked for 3 weeks at the front desk for a group of 6 and now we're being told we have to leave tomorrow morning because they only booked us for 1 week and are now at capacity. Absolutely unbelievable if they only had 1 week of availability we should've been told that and now we have to scramble to find new rooms with a cruise ship about to port and there's close to zero availability. Ignoring that cluster, the noise cancellation is sub par for a Marriot, personally my room had long hairs all over it, all the yogurt in the fridge was expired for breakfast, and I'd really like to emphasize that we're now scrambling at 10:30pm to find new rooms for 6ppl for 2 weeks because they couldn't book us properly. 6 active duty, gold elite members.
MoreStaying here now, and I'm in the worst hotel room I've ever had. It reeks of old cigarette smoke, and to make matters worse, the heating/AC unit is so incredibly loud that I can't sleep. Even with my noise-canceling headphones on, the constant humming and grinding is impossible to block out.Maintenance came by but couldn't fix it. Their solution? Wrapping the pipes in towels. ♀️The hotel is fully booked, and I'm here for a work conference. I'm supposed to be presenting tomorrow to a room full of people, but instead I'm exhausted and have a headache from the nonstop noise.I've traveled all over the world for work, and this is, without question, the worst hotel room I've ever stayed in.
