The facility was in a residential area but had several very sketchy and young people and several people that appeared to be transients wandering around the premises. I had reserved a room without a kitchenette, but my reservation was lost and had to spend an extra $20 for the room. I had to pay a refundable $50 down payment. Parking was very limited and most cars parked there were very sketchy looking. Felt very worried about rental car's safety, having to park along the street. Many of the tenants was long long term. There were no silverware, cups, plates, bowls, cookware anyway. The floor and couch were dirty, the dark hall was a bit scary. There was no closet hanger or even a clothes rod. No chairs to sit on. The room smelled old, but wasn't that bad. Bed was adequate. Shower was ok, but not great. I didn't need hot water anyway after running the marathon. Upon checkout I waited about 30 min to get the $50 refund back. Will never go close to that motel again.

Have seen some really bad reviews on this place but not sure why. It IS in a poor area & not the easiest to get to. When we arrived, 2 tweens were skateboarding in the little courtyard & staff was watering the flowerbed. Check-in was easy, pleasant. Exterior is in good condition but room are aged, needed repair, including new carpet; surprised it had a full kitchen. My biggest complaint was that the pillows are SO flat they should've been replaced, which is petty. For the price we paid, it was quite acceptable.

I'm not sure I would even consider this an inn. It seemed like there were a lot of people who lived there. Quite frankly the only reason I stayed here is because it was the only place available that was under $300 that night. There was something going on in Anchorage and all the decent priced rooms were all booked up. I was happy to find this place. It is located in a residential neighborhood off a highway. The room was extremely dark and tiny. When i turned on the tv i was shocked to find soft porn on it :( I guess it was an hbo show but it kind of fit in with the bad feeling I got there. I made it through the night but the sleep was anything but sound.

Location is not convenient. Even the name of the hotel is not written properly. We had a tough time to locate it in the first place. The room was ok. The walls and the ceiling were not very clean though. It dint have a cupboard. Not a comfortable stay overall.

The folks that run this place are as nice and helpful as anywhere you have ever been. The property is in a run down neighborhood and has poor security. The rooms vary but are clean with furnishings that vary and appear to have been salvaged from junk yards. Some of the tenants get loud at night depending on the night. Most appliances work well as do the bathrooms. This is kind of like a hostel and priced like one. There is no A/C but they have floor fans. Towels, wash cloths, soap, and shampoo are provided. The property is a bit hard to find but it is off HWY 1 near Elmendorf Air Base. Parking is a bit limited.
