This is literally the coolest shop I've ever been to. I said that out loud and the guy next to me agreed! You can purchase a triceratops frill fragment and tooth for $75 - $125. My kids were in heaven in here. Highly recommended.

The store is clean well lit for a good view of the artifacts and things for sale. Was able to quickly find a item for the Grandson.

This place is nothing less than AWESOME....it's a must see for anyone loving prehistoric artifacts!!

was told by friends to visit this store. prices are high in both stores and workers didnt seem incredibly eager to help. felt unwelcomed. content is nice to look at, but very pricey for the area

My husband and I are both lovers of beautiful rocks, minerals, and fossils. Any time we find a rock shop, we have to stop. But we both agree that Prehistoric in St. Augustine, FL, is a very special find. The owner, who opened the store as part if his retirement, is both knowledgable and engaging. His selection is both incomparably diverse and unique, as well as amazingly priced. We had a wonderful time talking with him.and learning more about his collection. Purchases here are heavy, and we were flying home. He was quick to offer to ship things home for us. All arrived impeccably packaged, in perfect shape, and in time for Christmas. Our next trip to St. Augustine, Prehistoric is on our must stop at list.
