It's a charming building, nicely decorated, with a little bookshop/library on the ground floor, then a little coffee shop, and a couple of Vonnegut exhibition rooms. The building isn't really historically connected to Vonnegut, and there are almost no artifacts relating to him (just a typewriter and a few pictures). The exhibits are just walls with pictures and text, so I left feeling like I'd have been better served by reading wikipedia or watching a documentary. I can't remember exact admission fee, but I remember thinking it was quite high considering how little there was to see.

What a great place for learning. The attendant on the first floor was friendly and there were lots of books and posters to explore. The second floor has a small cafe, more books, posters and an exhibit to see. The third floor is an impressive display of information about Vonnegut's World War II experience at Dresden. There are many personal items throughout the museum that give wonderful insights into his personality and life. It is definitely a great place to experience.

If you are a free-speech lover, care about education, or just love literature, I highly recommend you check out this museum and library. There is a bar area, too, but it also serve non-alcoholic drinks. Vonnegut's personal and career history is laid out well and in an interesting fashion, but there is also information about people and issues he cared deeply about. Others have claimed you can do it in 45-minutes, but we enjoy nearly two hours and could have stayed longer if a tour hadn't come through and their conversation distracted us.

Great museum and chronicle of Kurt Vonnegut’s life. Start on the 3rd floor and work your way down. Fun cafe for a snack, ice cream or glass of wine. After the museum we went downtown and saw the mural.

A small museum celebrating a world renowned writer. Take your time to read everything - very well presented in a very logical manner (start on the third floor and work your way down). Read and studied his books in high school - definitely need to go back and re-read some of them.
