This was a little hard to find because the address that they have is not the exact address where you find it.You take a right at the corner, where the GPS puts you, and then walk halfway down that block towards 12th, and it's in a little open-air enclave. It's a beautiful large-size mural that's made into the middle of a red brick pathway.Just be careful stepping around it because I'm sure just like anything with continued walking traffic, it will start wearing down.It was made by a Cuban immigrant who has lived in Miami most of his life and it's made out of recycled windshields.

The Myaamia mural is one of many in Little Havana. This mural is unique as it is a tiled design at ground level, unlike the many wall murals nearby. The tiles were made from recycled car windshields, and the sculptor is Santos Mendez. The Myaamia is a name linked to native American Indians, and is loosely translated as friendship. The colourful mural is based on a painting of the same name. It is easily found to the right of the TD bank. Quite a few buses are on this route, but once in Little Havana, this is a pleasant stroll on Calle Ocho. Other attractions nearby include the Santa Barbara catholic church, a short walk north, and the many monuments on the Cuban Memorial Boulevard, a short walk west.
