Located in Lake Poway, this beautiful memorial commemorates and immortalizes the late great Tony Gwynn (Mr. Padre) who contributed so much to the world of baseball as well as to the communities of San Diego and Poway. It is also fittingly located just steps from a baseball field in Lake Poway. It has an 11-foot statue of Tony Gwynn, in his Padre uniform with his number 19, carrying his daughter in one arm while smiling and waving to the crowd.
