The room was awesome. Service was quick and attentive. The hotel vibe is amazing. I can’t wait to bring my daughters here to see everything on display.

9.5/10. Hotel had some amazing features that made it great, a few missing polishes and quirks, but I would gladly stay here again. The theme of the hotel is incredible and its basically an art museum and just makes everyone feel safe and at ease with each other. Even the outside has an amazing mural, plus the RBG and lobby are great just to check out or hangout/eat even if you aren't staying here. The rooms were creative, the interesting shower design was a highlight for me both for practicality and design and I could turn on the water without getting chilled (check if you need accessibility or space or more privacy though), location was top notch for subway access and major attractions and the convenience of several food spots and a 24-hour wawa and cvs next door, pet policy is the among the best I've seen and the grassy circle was convenient for walking the dog, staff was all incredibly friendly, the decor was cheeky and fun, the bed was comfortable and cozy with great sheets and even had fun mood lighting, and the like. I also need to find out the fragrance of their shampoo it was amazing. The room rate when we visited was a great value. The hotel had texting capabilities including i believe housekeeping and the arrange-ahead valet and digital tipping which was conveinient, and they close the front door after 11 for safety which is nice. The minor issues and polishes that are missing are not dealbreakers and may be unique to my room 902, but they include: a standing puddle of cold/dirty water would form at the entrance of my shower, my bathroom pivoting mirror was a little wobbly, the toilet switch was clearly poorly installed and out of whack and the flush was weak and I nearly had a panic thinking I needed to call in a plumber but thankfully a second flush resolved the issue, the bathroom door had no outside handle just an inside one (clearly it used to be there) and was super heavy to close, some scuffing on walls and on the desk, our mini fridge prevented the cabinet door from closing which really made it look unclassy, AC was a little odd in that I wasn't sure if it was doing what I wanted it to do but it did work well/faster if you pushed it farther than your desired temp, the TV chromecast connection did not work even after calling tech help at front desk (although they did show up quickly, but their promise to circle back with more solutions did not come to fruition), the front desk told me about the resort fee of $35 + nearly $5 in resort fee tax wasn't mentioned, but when I asked if I had already paid it they said your reservation is prepaid so I thought I was in the clear but was not when the final folio came in, the valet was nice and super friendly but it was a little steep at $59/night + nearly $11 in tax per night. Again, minor fit and finish issues and some stuff, but I am glad I stayed here and if I could get a good rate would absolutely consider doing so again, and if I find myself in the area with friends or colleagues would swing by regardless to hangout.
