It can be so discouraging to feel that you have put everything you have into a relationship and still find yourself unhappy on a daily basis. No matter how many different ways you have tried to approach your loved one, there seems to be no improvement. You have heard the full array of promises, excuses and arguments, and begin to believe it is all your fault at the end of the day. Perhaps you have made attempts to get your spouse into couples therapy, or agonized over whether to make your teen to go to therapy or not. Despite your best efforts, the situation continues to deteriorate, and your wellbeing along with it. Relationships do not need to feel like unending work. Imagine a reality in which your loved one is no longer adding to your stress. Picture a life in which you can take care of yourself and engage in your interests without feeling guilty. I help individuals find relationship satisfaction through the work of finding wholeness in themselves first.
