tripadvisorIncredible service! Ross was so kind and helpful when I needed a package picked up from FedEx. He went above and beyond to accommodate me and made the entire process so easy. 100/10 stars! I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone!
MoreWe like staying at the Autograph Collection hotels by Marriott. This one is beautiful with an eclectic arrangement of furnishings throughout the hotel. Our room was on the smaller side but very comfortable. The only issue we had with the room is that the shower water temperature was warm but not hot. When I asked at the front desk they informed me that they control the water temperature so that no one gets burned. Hmmm we would have preferred to be able to adjust it ourselves. The staff was very nice throughout the hotel. I was surprised that when we arrived as Bon Voy members that we were not given complementary bottles of water. I later asked and was told that we were not at the “higher level” to receive the water. I have never had that happen at other hotels but not a biggie just strange. Some suggestions for management would be to have more valets on staff when the hotel is busy and to have some security around perhaps even having to use guest room keys to be used in the elevator for access the guest rooms. We liked being able to used the hotel fitness center. I definitely recommend this hotel.
MoreThe hotel was truly special. The unique character of the building itself to the overall customer service and attentiveness from the staff it was worth every penny. Loved the convenience of the restaurant downstairs - btw the salmon dish is a must have!!
MoreI highly recommend the Surety. The location is great to access many downtown restaurants. The rooms are large, updated, trendy, and offers many of the features needed for a business trip. And the views of the city from the higher floors are nice.
MoreRude staff. Old hotel. Poor amenities. There are plenty of better options in the Des Moines area. Choose another option. Don't waste your money.
