Recently visited Tulsa specifically to learn more about the Race Massacre. We took the 1-hour Real Black Wall Street Tour, lead by Chief. The 1-hour tour ended up being more like 90 minutes, which is great but plan accordingly. There were 4 of us on our tour, and the other two continued on for the 2-hour version. (We saw them afterward and they spoke highly of it.)The tour is less moving around and more talking and learning. For at least the first 45 minutes we stayed at the meeting point to talk about the history, culture, and community of the Greenwood neighborhood. This was very educational. Then we did do some walking, but sadly there is limited sights to see after the Massacre and then Urban Renewal. I will note that registering for the tour did leave room for improved clarity going forward, as the only confirmation was a sentence or two from Chief rather than a standardized form email confirming date, time, location, etc.
