tripadvisorWe were a family of 6 and undertook the tour on 10th August 2026. I'm honestly struggling to put into words just how fantastic our Private Yellowstone Wolf & Wildlife Tour with Yellowstone Dreamin Adventures was. From start to finish, it was an absolutely unforgettable experience and one we will treasure for a very long time. Our guide, Ron, was simply amazing. His knowledge of Yellowstone, the wildlife, and the area was incredible. What really stood out was his ability to spot wildlife that we would never have seen ourselves! He seemed to know exactly where to go and what to look for, and he was determined to make sure we experienced as much of Yellowstone's incredible wildlife as possible. The scenery was absolutely stunning, but the highlight has to be our bison experience - it was truly out of this world.Seeing these magnificent animals in their natural environment was something we will never forget. Ron's expertise made the experience even more special, giving us fascinating insight into the animals and the landscape around us. The lovely picnic lunch was another wonderful touch and gave us the perfect opportunity to take in our surroundings and appreciate just how lucky we were to be experiencing Yellowstone in such a special way. We came away from the day completely blown away. If you're visiting Yellowstone and considering a wildlife tour, I cannot recommend Yellowstone Dreamin Adventures and Ron highly enough. This wasn't just a tour - it was an incredible adventure and a truly unforgettable day.Thank you, Ron, for helping make our Yellowstone experience so incredibly special. We couldn't have asked for a better guide or a better day! ❤️️✨
MoreWow. Not sure where to begin. My wife worked with Debbie to get everything setup. She was extremely responsive and helpful. The lunch that she arranged for us was excellent. These aren’t gas station bag lunches. These were fantastic lunches. More than I could eat in fact. Our guide, JR, was excellent. His passion for the area and the wildlife was evident from the moment he picked us up. He was the perfect amount of talkative for us. He shared a great knowledge of the park and was the kind of person I’d be friends with if we met in real life. He has the perfect personality for guiding visitors along their journey. We were picked up in a nice newer suburban. It for our family of 6 (including 3 teenage boys) well. It was nice and clean, I feel bad it was a rainy day and we got the inside muddy. JR just seemed to understand that was part of the deal. The tour was well equipped with spotting scopes, binoculars, bear spray, etc. JR even had a device to attach my phone to one of the spotting scopes so we could all see and we could get photos and video from it.JR was great at helping us find wildlife, and did a great job of tailoring our tour to us. He showed us things we never would have seen without an expert guide. He even showed us things that he felt we missed out on from our previous couple days of unguided exploring. If you’re considering a guide, just do it. And use Yellowstone Dreamin Adventures. You won’t regret it.
MoreWe stayed at the Yellowstone Dreamin Camp, and did a Combo Tour one day while we were there. Both were top nothch. We are a family of 4 - with two boys ages 13 and 11. The camp far exceeded our expectations. It was quiet with amazing views, and had far better amenities than we expected - having tried 'glamping' like this in other places. Can't say enough about these tents. We slept better than at home! Our boys never say a word about accommodations either way - but couldn't stop raving about this place. The tour with Ron was awesome too. He was well informed and easy to ask questions. Knew the right spots and more than once spotted a grizzly or wolf that soon a hundred other people were checking out nearby. Great guy who really made it a fun day. He also found a really suitable hike for us so we weren't just in the car all day - a beautiful spot that really helped us feel like we we experiencing some of the best Yellowstone has to offer. Great great experience.
MoreMy boyfriend and I visited Yellowstone Dreamin Camp in early May! We stayed for one night as a little pit stop after visiting Yellowstone National Park. The luxury tents are so unique. They really opened us up to a new way of vacationing and experiencing a town. The camp is in perfect driving distance to the north of Yellowstone National Park. Our luxury tent featured two beds (a queen and a king). The beds had heated mattress pads, which helped us stay warm throughout the night. Each tent is themed off of a different animal. We stayed in the Beaver tent and furniture/decorations for the tent were very nice. The chairs situated outside the tent were perfect seats for taking in the breathtaking view of the mountains and Paradise Valley. Overall, my boyfriend and I enjoyed the experience. The Yellowstone Dreamin Camp is ideal for someone who wants to escape the walls of a hotel room, but not sleep directly on the ground in traditional camping style.
MoreWe signed up for their all-day wildlife tour in early September. I’ll give them one point for a prompt refund and a sympathy point for their guide being sick, but there’s no excuse for not calling us to tell us that they had no guide available for our confirmed reservation. It was nice that they were trying to find another guide before calling us but I couldn’t try myself because I didn’t know we didn’t have a guide. Telling us in a voicemail that they could tell us where to look for the wildlife we said we wanted to see was nice, but not returning my call back to give me the promised info was disappointing. If you’re like me and you don’t want to spend your once-in-a-lifetime Yellowstone trip watching the road instead of wildlife and scenery because you had to drive your own car, you might want to try a more tenured tour company with more reviews (I noticed that all their few reviews were in only the last few months). When we told our bed and breakfast hosts what happened, they pointed out that their meeting point address was the local Super 8 motel. I’m all for supporting a local small business, but it didn’t work out this time.
