Our work with children & families is inspired by the Reggio Approach, a progressive approach to teaching & learning which centers around the following key principles: Images of Child, The 100 Languages, Project Work, Role of The Environment & Problem Solving. Our curriculum is based on a process of observation and reflection, where children play an active role as co-constructors of their own learning opportunities. As a mixed age program in an intimate home setting, each child & family contributes to the context & identity of the school. We value the importance of developing authentic relationships among peers, adults, materials & the environment, as the foundations for lifelong learning. One of our many goals is to allow children to feel safe, comfortable and in relationship with the environment of the school.
