What I assume was fiacial hair was left on the wooden shelf above the sink in the bathroom. The rest of the room was decently clean though.Room was smaller than expected based on pictures I saw.Towels were roughWalls and floor were thin. We could hear someone snoring around us throughout the night.

I can not tell what audience the Tru brand is aimed at. It puts me in the mind of what I believe Motel 6 aims for, but the room rate charged by Tru is not that of Motel 6. The location is a problem - remote from highway access. Apparently staffing is an issue - the front desk was rarely manned when we passed.

The hotel is new and modern but not being maintained. We had to switch rooms 3 times due to dirty stained towels and bedding . One room had a hairbrush from a previous guest still in it and a some breath mints. This place is not even close to Hilton standards . Stay away from this place.

First time at a Tru hotel. Totally different vibe, but same high Hilton standards. Rooms are very small with very little storage, and there is no pool, unless you count the pool table (and other games) in the lobby! Fresh fruit and coffee/tea are available 24/7, and breakfast is more than adequate.

I've stayed with the brand a couple times before, and I find it a bit austere to wear the Hilton brand. This one is as good as any other one wearing this brand. It's new, and everything is predictably fresh and clean. The desk staff was professional and courteous. They had generous lobby with some billiards going on, and a fire pit out back. The room was in predictably good condition except for the window shades. I have one thing to say about fancy motorized shades - DON'T! Anywhere they exist in a lodging room, I've never found them working in even one. Hotel guests are not smart enough to use them without tearing them up. They are always rippd/torn/gears stripped, where this room the black out shade was completely missing. These things are not fit for duty in guest rooms, and should never be installed. My bath was large with plenty of soap, towels, and accessories. In the room was a roll-around computer table, which was nice to get away from the output of the HVAC. All of that stuff was working properly. They have put in hard floors, rather than carpet, which is very welcome and I'm sure house keeping would rather have that than carpet. I had a view of an empty field out back, but there is a considerable amount of shopping within walking distance. At breakfast they had those pre-packaged omelettes, and dinner sausage similar to what we find at a BBQ restaurant. I don't find that to be an appropriate protein for breakfast. Of course there was cerial, all kinds of bread to toast, and the predictable things along with one of those automated pancake machines. I've never eaten one of those machine-made pancakes, but the device looks like a mess to clean and maintain, and they would be much better off with a self-serve waffle machine.I doubt I'll be back here, but there's nothing wrong with the place. If my car breaks down again I would use them again.
